Flotera
Section titled “Flotera”Agent — the small program installed on each of your machines. Reports telemetry over HTTPS, receives commands over a WebSocket.
Fleet — all the machines in your account.
Managed machine — a machine in your fleet that reported on a given day. This is the unit Flotera bills on.
Privilege — what the agent is allowed to do on the host: read-only
(report only) or full (also change power limit, fans, reboot, driver).
Readiness check — the one-button measurement of a machine against a marketplace’s requirements.
Rule — a pricing rule covering one card class on one marketplace.
Decision log — the record of what the pricing engine suggested and the market snapshot behind it.
Grace — the period during which an account below zero keeps working.
Frozen — an account that stopped being acted on. Machines keep running; history stops being recorded.
Ledger — every charge, top-up and correction, on a UTC calendar.
Runway — a projection of how long the balance lasts at the current rate.
States
Section titled “States”Online / offline — whether the agent has been heard from in the last 300 seconds.
Idle — in your fleet, not offered to anyone.
Listed — published and visible to renters.
Rented — a rental is running.
Maintenance window — an announced period when availability is off and new rentals pause.
Marketplaces
Section titled “Marketplaces”On-demand — a fixed advertised price; the renter takes it or leaves it.
Spot — a bidding market. Renters bid above your floor, and a bid can be outbid.
Floor — the lowest price you will accept on spot.
Offer / listing — your machine as renters see it.
In search — visible to renters. A listing can exist while being out of search.
Median — the middle price for a card class. Flotera uses the median rather than the average so outliers do not move it.
Occupancy — the share of machines of that class currently rented.
Depth — how many offers the median was computed over.
Reliability — the marketplace’s own score for a machine, based on its history of staying up.
MFP — max fair price — Clore’s own valuation of a machine. The MFP lock is denominated as a multiple of it.
PoH — Proof of Holding — Clore’s mechanism that reduces the base fee for holders of its token.
Hardware
Section titled “Hardware”TGP — the card’s rated total graphics power, in watts.
Power limit — a cap you set below the rated TGP. Cuts draw and heat, and throughput with them.
Core temperature — reported by every card.
Memory junction temperature — the memory, roughly 20 °C hotter than the core on GDDR6X.
Zero-RPM idle — normal behaviour where a cool card stops its fans entirely.
PCIe link width — how many lanes a card actually negotiated. A card in a ×4 slot is advertised as the slower machine it is.
Access
Section titled “Access”PAT — personal access token — a credential for a script or an assistant, carrying a limited set of scopes.
Scope — one permission a token may carry.
MCP — the protocol an AI assistant uses to talk to Flotera.
Risk class — how dangerous a tool is. Decides whether it may run without asking you.
