Server requirements

Installing the agent and renting out a server have different requirements. The agent needs a supported system and a connection to Flotera. Marketplaces also check hardware, OS settings, ports, and network speed.

The installer does not install or update the NVIDIA driver, and the panel cannot do it either. Install and update it yourself while the server is free: a driver update may require a reboot.

For containers, use --target container with read-only permissions. See installation options.

Additional disk data

smartmontools and nvme-cli provide extended disk diagnostics. Without them, the agent collects only information available through the kernel.

Marketplace requirements

After installing the agent, open Platforms in the server card and run the readiness check. It checks:

• the OS, driver, Docker, and NVIDIA Container Toolkit;
• access to GPU sensors and PCIe link width;
• memory and storage capacity;
• the public IP address and inbound port reachability;
• actual network speed.

Each result includes the requirement, measured value, and a suggested action. Requirements include the date they were checked against marketplace documentation. Run the check again after changing hardware, the system, or networking.
