QuickPod

Flotera reads machines in your QuickPod account, shows the GPU market, manages listings, and tracks rentals. Connect with a QuickPod owner API key. Flotera does not create pods or install the QuickPod host software.

  1. Create a separate qpk_ API key in QuickPod with access to your account, machines, contracts, and listing changes. Keep the host installer key separate.

  2. In Flotera, open Marketplaces → Accounts → QuickPod, enter the key, and wait for the connection confirmation.

  3. Install the Flotera agent using the command in Servers → Add server. Choose full mode. If QuickPod is already installed, leave its service and keys unchanged.

  4. Open Platforms in the server card and select Auto-detect or Re-check now. Check that QuickPod is detected.

  5. In the QuickPod tile menu, select Link to a machine… and find your machine. Check the UUID fingerprint match, then select Link machine. If the check is older than an hour, run Re-check now first.

Connecting an account does not create a server or link a machine automatically. Your listings shows only linked QuickPod machines. Unlinked machines are available in the linking window on the Platforms tab.

The key is never shown again. Disconnecting QuickPod deletes the saved key and its Flotera links without changing the machines on QuickPod.

Open the server’s Marketplace tab and select QuickPod. Create offer publishes the machine, Edit offer changes its offer, and Unlist removes it from QuickPod search.

The offer window contains:

  • GPU price;
  • Min GPUs per rental;
  • Max rental duration — whole days from 1 to 365;
  • Storage — a positive price in dollars per TB-hour;
  • Privileged access.

Privileged access is available only when a rental takes every GPU of the machine. Lowering the minimum GPU count disables it. A privileged container can reach the host, including the Flotera agent’s files; enable this only for a machine you are prepared to hand over entirely.

Manual changes to terms and listing require a host check from the last 24 hours, known idle GPUs, and no active rental. QuickPod must see the machine online before publication. Missing confirmation of open ports or verification is shown as a warning. Linking alone does not confirm rental readiness.

After a change, wait for confirmation. If the result is unknown, select Check result before editing again: the change may already have applied.

When a listing is automatically paused, the panel shows its state. A price-only edit keeps the pause. Explicit publication overrides automatic restoration; an owner withdrawal leaves the listing hidden.

The QuickPod cell in the server header shows its price and state. The Marketplace tab contains the price compared with the QuickPod market median, rental terms, and Machine on QuickPod: reliability, CUDA, direct ports, network speed, free disk and disk speed, CPU, RAM, motherboard, location, and lifetime earnings. These facts come from QuickPod.

Data refreshes automatically. Check the last update time and connection status before changing a listing.

QuickPod market prices cover available and rented machines of the same GPU class, excluding your own. Each machine counts once at its lowest GPU price. Check the sample size and update time before comparing prices.

In Strategy, select the QuickPod rule for the GPU class. Set the preset, offset, price ceiling, and optional reliability threshold:

  • Maximum profit — upper market quartile;
  • Balanced — median;
  • Maximum utilization — lower market quartile.

Suggestions use measured electricity costs and a $0.001 price step. Low occupancy can prevent a price increase; read the reason next to the rule. A small sample makes the comparison less reliable.

Select Set price to apply a suggestion to every GPU of a published machine. Use Dismiss to reject a suggestion without changing the listing. With Auto enabled, Flotera applies new suggestions while the server is free. See pricing rules for conditions and results.

Flotera polls your QuickPod account every two minutes, even with the panel closed. Rental status comes from QuickPod. Host jobs do not count as rentals.

Occupancy appears in the server list, fleet dashboard, and server Overview. The start time is when Flotera first observed the rental and can differ from the actual start. Sync errors can increase that delay. To receive start and end notifications, enable Rentals in notification settings and configure a delivery channel.

During a rental, the listing price may be reduced. Price increases, changes to terms, and manual unlisting wait until the rental ends. Reboot and shutdown are blocked during a known active rental. If Flotera cannot confirm that the host is idle, commands that could interrupt a rental are unavailable. The panel shows the reason. Diagnostics remain available; agent updates are blocked during a known active rental.

Flotera shows daily QuickPod earnings for each server. Today’s amount may update after a rental has ended.

A daily total is not the amount for an individual rental and does not prove a payout. Check fees and the final payout in your QuickPod account. When the duration is known but the rental rate is not, Flotera keeps the rented time without presenting an unknown amount as zero income.

If the host check is stale, choose Re-check now and retry linking within an hour. If fingerprints differ, check that the Flotera agent is on the same host as the selected QuickPod machine. Unlink QuickPod before removing a linked server.
