How earnings are calculated
Section titled “How earnings are calculated”For each server and UTC day, Flotera uses the marketplace report when available; otherwise it estimates income from the observed deal price and duration. The report replaces the estimate; the two are never added together. Today’s report may be revised later. Check fees and the final payout in your QuickPod account.
Why the amount differs from the marketplace
Section titled “Why the amount differs from the marketplace”When comparing, check:

The calculation in the panel does not confirm receipt of the payout and does not automatically account for all possible marketplace adjustments.
On Vast, an active contract does not always mean its container is running. If earnings differ, check the instance state in your Vast.ai account.
Incomplete data
Section titled “Incomplete data”If the rental price or currency is unknown, or an exchange rate is missing, the amount is excluded from the dollar total. Known rental time is kept; unknown earnings are not counted as zero. Totals with gaps are marked incomplete. Check the warnings before comparing periods.
Occupancy
Section titled “Occupancy”Compare your fleet’s occupancy with the market for the same GPU model.
- Your fleet: the share of observed time your GPUs were rented. Periods without data do not count as idle time.
- Market: one line per marketplace. The Clore.ai line is Flotera’s own count of rented offers in its sample. Flotera samples only available Vast.ai offers, so the dashed Vast.ai line, marked “its own figure”, shows Vast.ai’s own figure for its whole market. It is read with your Vast.ai key and shown only to you.
The two measures give context, not an exact like-for-like comparison. If your occupancy is lower, check price, specifications, reliability, and listing visibility before changing your price.
When counting starts
Section titled “When counting starts”Flotera’s own calculation starts after the first synchronization of a linked server. The first day may be incomplete. If there are no Flotera accruals for a day but there is an amount from the marketplace, the chart marks this source separately.
